Have you ever been to a store to buy a PC, cell phone, or other electronic device? Has the Sales Associate ever talked in acronyms or technical terms that you did not understand? Have you asked the associate to clarify or elaborate to which they either dismissed your question or explained it in not a simplified way?
You’re not alone.
A lot of people are intimidated by technology for the fact they do not have a good resource to have their questions answered or do not know what questions they should be asking. Some fear of asking a question not knowing or speaking the lingo and being judged for it. Others are concerned that they may navigate somewhere that they cannot get back to on their device and make it unfixable.
Here at The Nerdo Initiative, there are no silly or stupid questions here. We are all learning every day in different ways. One person may not know or have all the answers, but it takes just one person to give you the resources to guide you in the right direction.
Even better, by learning and understanding, this sparks other conversations and even ultimately teaching others.
